The 33rd edition of "Borders Rugby Roundup" features action from two matches and two Sevens tournaments! It was the quarter finals of the Scottish Hydro Electric Cup, Shield, Bowl and Plate over the weekend and we have highlights of Selkirk's game against Edinburgh Accies in the Cup. Selkirk were looking for their 26th home win in the Cup and League on the trot. There was still a lot at stake in the Premier 2 game at The Gytes between Peebles and Kelso, with both sides looking for a performance which would win them awards at the Borders Rugby Awards Dinner at Kelso's Tait Hall on May 8th. Peebles needed just five points to lift the trophy for most points by a Border club in Premier 2, but if they conceded more than 18 points they would hand the "Best Defence" award to Jedforest. You can see a review of that game. We also have highlights of the finals in the Hawick and Berwick Sevens competitions which took place at the weekend in the Kings of the Sevens tournament. Hawick were hoping to retain their own Cup while Kelso were looking to make it two in a row at Berwick.
