This is a montage of the 8 best tumblers the US has ever produced in women's gymnastics. The gymnasts in this montage have competed some of the most difficult tumbling passes in the world and are all extremely powerful. These 8 best gymnasts are Alicia Sacramone, Chellsie Memmel, Jamie Dantzscher, Jana Bieger, Kristen Maloney, Shawn Johnson, Tia Orlando and Vanessa Atler. Here are some interesting facts: 1. The double-double done by Shawn Johnson and the 1/1 double layout done by Kristen Maloney are both G (the most difficult) elements in the 2006-2008 code 2. Jana Bieger has also done a 1/1 double layout 3. Jana Bieger and Kristen Maloney are the only two US gymnasts to compete both a 1/1 double layout and a double layout in the same routine 4. Tia Orlando has competed a double front in the piked position 5. The arabian double pike done by Chellsie Memmel and Alicia Sacramone was a super E (the most difficult) element in the 2001-2004 code. 6. Kristen Maloney had the most difficult floor routine at the 2000 Olympics. 7. Jamie Dantzscher and Kristen Maloney were the only two gymnasts at the Sydney Olympics to compete 3 E tumbling passes (the most difficult in the 1997-2000 code) 8. Tia Orlando and Kristen Maloney both trained at Parkettes 9. Jamie Dantzscher and Vanessa Atler both trained at Gliders Other honourable mentions include Liz Tricase, Courtney Kupets, Carly Janiga and Kristal Uzelac. Who do you think is the best? A montage I made about all the different sides of Rhythmic gymnastics, from the elegance and difficulty, to the injuries and the defeats. The sepiatone coloured images show the good days and moments, and the grey ones what's behind it all and what it can lead to... A montage of the best tumblers in the world on floor exercise in women's gymnastics. These gymnasts have performed a very difficult G skill (full twisting double layout, double double, etc.) or an E skill or higher in combination. The gymnasts in this montage are Cheng Fei, Daiane Dos Santos, Jana Bieger, Kristen Maloney, Oksana Chusovitina, Shawn Johnson, Yelena Produnova and Yelena Zamolodchikova. Who do you think is the best? Thanks for making this: #99 - Top Rated (Today) - Sports - Canada For Nov. 24, 2009 Women's Gymnastics - The Best |
This montage is a tribute to gymnasts who treated us to difficult and exciting tumbling passes despite the fact that NCAA rules do not require the difficulty on floor exercise that elite gymnastics does. Kristen Maloney and Brandi Personett have performed full-twisting double layouts in NCAA which has the highest difficulty rating in elite gymnastics. Gymnasts in the order of first appearance are: Chelsa Byrd, Noel Couch, Jamie Dantzscher, Ashley-Clare Kearney, Daria Bijak, Courtney Kupets, Morgan Dennis, Kristen Maloney, April Burkholder, Courtney Bumpers, Ashley Kupets, Kate Richardson, Elyse Hopfner-Hibbs, Susan Jackson, Mohini Bhardwaj, Geralen Stack-Eaton, Tasha Schwikert, Hilary Mauro, Tiffany Tolnay, Courtney McCool, Abby Stack, Ashley Miles, Emily Parsons, Ashley Postell, Christa Tanella and Brandi Personett. The fabulous video of Brandi is courtesy of GGMB. Some of these passes are difficult to find because the broadcast of the NCAA Nationals rarely shows the complete floor routines. This is kind of an improvement video of my first video (I've ever made), "Rhythmic Gymnastics of Athens 2004 OG". This time I actually used video clips (like many have requested). When I made my first vid I didn't know anything about movie maker except putting in pictures and music. Now that I know all the basics, I will try to make more vids with clips and not just pictures. Enjoy this improved version of my old video! *Music by Cirque the Soleil, "Innocence" (c)fashiondesigner552 Best of Athens 2004 RG: My Fav |
This montage compares the abilities (tumbling, jumps, dance) of two very powerful US gymnasts, Jana Bieger and Kristen Maloney ,on floor exercise. These gymnasts are two of the best tumblers the US has ever produced. They are the only two american gymnasts to compete a full-twisting double layout and are also the only two to compete that skill with a double layout in the same routine. Both have competed some of the most difficult routines ever attempted on floor exercise. Both have been criticized for their dance, leaps, pirouettes and choreagraphy. Overall, who do you think was better? Thanks for making this: #87 - Top Rated (Today) - Sports - Canada For Dec. 10, 2009 Gymnastics - Jana Bieger vs Kr |
