Some overly agressive punks in a ring mouth at each other until one vents on the ref, who then promptly slams him into the mat. Suprises the hell out of everyone, and the offending boxer takes of his padding and about to get in a real fight till his trainer pulls him back. Great to see refs knowing a thing or two... all the vids I see are of refs getting pummeled Ref hits back! |
EDIT: This video is not sped up. Watch here live on TV: www.youtube.com The audio is in perfect sync (voices, ringtimer, pad sounds) and if it was sped up, the audio would be too. Google this kid and you'll see him doing the same thing during his TV interviews. The original is www.youtube.com My video is the same one. 2:20 long and starts with instructions to "Jab jab" and finishes with the same action. Listen to his trainers voice, listen to the ring timer. For the 1 millionth time, it's not sped up. If you've ever been in a gym, you would know that he's working the mits like he should. He's just a lot younger than most who have this level of ability. Give him his props, but stop acting like its impossible to do without camera/editing tricks. LMAO. 5 year old Bam Bam displays his boxing skills in a remarkable display for such a young age. See more of Bam Bam, who is also and actor and model at his website: www.prettyboybambam.com. James is available to "Ref" your next event sibrunony@aol.com or "www.myspace.com Greetings MMA.tv, My name is James Bruno. I am the referee responsible for the notorious, infamous, and much loved "Chokeslam from Hell". I've read a ton of feedback so I'll try to answer some questions. First I'll give a little background about the event in which it took place at. The name of the event was called Monday Night Raw named after the WWE program of course. At its peak,it took place Monday nights on Ft. Lauderdale Beach from around 1997 through 2004 and was created by promotional genius, Wally Smojver. People would sign up out of the crowd and participate in a boxing or "hardcore match"(mma). The wild thing about it... once your name was on the sign up sheet, you could wind up fighting anyone from the skill level of Pee Wee Herman up to Mike Tyson. I could name over a dozen professional boxers and mma fighters who have fought there before turning pro(two of them being my brothers, Steven and Mike Bruno). The Nogueira's have been in attendance and Matt Hughes and Din Thomas helped me co- referee one night.Pat Milietich and Jeremy Horn were in attendance one night an took a bow in our ring. Although there have been some great fights fought there, most of the participants consisted of thugs, degenerates, punks, bikers, gang members, ex-convicts, and other self proclaimed tough-guys. Over the course of the beach brawls, I have refereed around 200 fights. I have been punched in the ... Choke Slam |

Ali: The Man He's still the most recognizable man on earth. And over forty years after he burst onto the scene as a gold-medal winner at the 1960 Rome Olympics, Muhammad Ali remains a magical figure, known and loved throughout the world. Dubbed "Athlete of the Century" by GQ magazine, Muhammad continues to receive accolades for his contribution to sports. He has been named Sports Illustrated's "Sportsman of the Century," the bbc's "Sports Personality of the Century," the World Sports Award's "World Sportsman of the Century," and the State of Kentucky's "Kentuckian of the Century." In 2005, he received the United States of America's highest civil award, the Presidential Medal of Freedom. As a boxer, Muhammad brought unprecedented speed and grace to his sport, while his charm and wit changed forever what the public expected a champion to be. His accomplishments in the ring are the stuff of legend -- two fights with Sonny Liston, where he proclaimed himself "The Greatest" and proved he was; three epic wars with Joe Frazier; the stunning victory over George Foreman in the Rumble in the Jungle; and dethroning Leon Spinks to become heavyweight champion for an unprecedented third time. But there was always far more to Muhammad than what took place in a boxing ring. Muhammad's life and career have been played out as much on the front pages of newspapers as on the inside sports pages. His early embrace of the Nation of Islam and his insistence on being called Muhammad Ali instead ... "The Greatest" Muhammad Ali |

The jury decided that Ismet had to fight against a German boxer and Ismet won by technical knock-out in the first round. The Kurdish crowded shouted Biji Ismet and the podium was covered by Kurdish flags. Although the Kurdish rapper Azad didn't come, there was still a good atmosphere. Instead of Azad, the Kurdish rapper Agit did some raps for the crowd. Ismet Bozan is the Thaiboxing World champing. He is very proud on this and struggled his whole life for this title. In April he finally achieved his goal and he gave his title to Kurds and Kurdistan. Officialy Ismet is fighting for Germany in the ring, but in his heart he is a Kurd. Originally Ismet's parents come from Batman in Turkish-Kurdistan. But he now lives in Germany. The boxing fight will be soon shown on Kurdistan TV.
